Worth the trip! Maybe it’s a bit strong my affirmation, but live the excitement of watching all these top 8,000 of the Himalayas, is not for every day. We’re ready for Himalayas mountain flight!
This is the airport upon our arrival … looks like. It isn’t inviting!
I assure you that our check-in desk is the most beautiful.
Their planes, are the most modern presents, but the standards are not ours. This is the Himalayas mountain flight!
As the bus takes us to our plane, here’s the military area. Nepal seems to be one of the most militarized country in the world. The armed soldiers are really everywhere.
New airplanes everywhere, cutting-edge surround us… Ehmmm… not true…
At Valeria doesn’t interest anything. Whenever we can fly for her is like a drug!
We gets onboard. Valeria is perhaps the only one to enter without banging your head, given the small size of the aircraft. Inside we are in 16 in the Himalayas mountain flight.
We take off over the city of Kathmandu. It extends to infinity completely covered by smog always present. The pollution caused by very old vehicles and dioxin of fires everywhere to burn the plastic is indescribable. The sore throat accompanied perpetually, throughout Nepal, tourists and locals.
Unfortunately, as often happens, and as I have already described about the Maldives, these havens are too often ruined and destined to collapse. In all this tourism is certainly one of the most important contributing factors.
But now in the distance we begin to see the mountains of Himalayas on one side and the clouds over the valleys on the other.
When you get close to the main attraction, one by one we go to the cockpit.
From this vantage point you can see Everest in all its grandeur.
Himalayas mountain flight is a great experience!
The Himalayas flowing in front of our windows. It’s wonderful.
The day is very clear and we can admire breathtaking views.
The images speak for themselves, with no need to comment.
When we are closer than ever, overlooking the mountains of Himalayas, the feeling is indescribable majesty.
It’s a very expensive flight. For the standards of the place and also very expensive for us (about $ 150 each for one hour of flight, November 2013 prices).
What I can say is that you can’t lose. It’s one of the best experiences you can live here and, in my opinion, doesn’t really make sense to decide to travel to this remote corner of the world, without feeling this emotion.
If I haven’t convinced you … watch this video of our Himalayas mountain flight, although the quality is not the best by the window.
Enjoy with us this minute of flight on the Himalayas!
I wish you a pleasant journey to Everest!
