It takes into consideration a problem that since time immemorial has been troubling the planet and against which exists no solution – it’s lapidary to say like that but unfortunately it’s true. It cannot be defeated!
We have to learn living together with it.
Immediately in the entrance we are enveloped by a sentence which gives the creep: nobody is either too young to be a victim of terrorism, or too young to be recruited.
International Terrorism history
Then it begins an overview of terrorism through centuries and history: from KKK to IRA in Ireland, to Basque Country to the Middle East…arriving to Twin Towers, of course.
Terrorism knows no bounds and it’s not confined to only one zone in the world. It crosses religion, politics, ideology and it feeds on them.At @TheCELLorg in #Denver, people learn the history of #terrorism. #LHtoDenver @VisitDenver Click To Tweet
During the visit you learn the history of terrorism, the methods, the impacts on the society and not last the national security to which every simple citizen can and have to contribute with awareness.
Visit The CELL, the museum of terrorism
The visit is organized freely and allows to spend inside the time you want to aware to the problem, to self-educate to the threat of terrorism and to learn what we can do to improve everyone’s security.
Terrorism is a difficult subject to understand and the information is often instrumental. So the idea of an exhibition trying to educate was born: the best experts on the field in the world took part to its realization.
Going out The Cell in Denver to fight terrorism with awareness you are absolutely different compared to the moment you went in. You don’t have more answers in comparison with the moment you enter, instead you have even more questions.
The museum tries to translate in a simple way, usable by everyone, a complicated subject through a dynamic and interactive experience.
A series of loudspeakers envelops us through the voices of important characters and experts on terrorism and it makes us enter the heart of the problem. Walking through the corridors you watch multimedia presentations showing the evolution of terrorism and its impact on today’s world.

Definition of terrorism
What’s the most curios thing I learnt and I never thought to? It doesn’t exist a univocal definition of terrorism in the world. What we define in a negative way “terrorism”, in other places of the world it has a positive meaning.
I find it absurd. It’s sadly true but absurd!
The CELL in Denver to fight terrorism with awareness identified 8 signs of terrorism we have to learn to recognize: surveillance, elicitation, tasting security, funding, acquiring supplies, impersonation, rehearsal, deployment.Learn to recognize the 8 signs of #terrorism. @TheCELLorg #Denver #LHtoDenver @VisitDenver Click To Tweet
Terrorism and awareness
A room with endless questions allows to aware to how less we know about the subject because terrorism is active every day, each moment and it changes tactics non-stop.
Today it uses actual instruments and it spreads by them its message of fear. Terrorism cannot exist without the message is amplified.
During centuries terrorism attacked and attacks the palaces of power, politics, economics and the simple communities.
In the last room we watch, better I’d say we are a part and a “victim” of a terrorist attack through space and time. How shocking!
We go out silently and without words.
The visit at the CELL in Denver to fight terrorism is recommended above 14 years old.
