Did you follow our short break in Berlin, didn’t you? So you didn’t miss the photos on the social about the place where we slept.
I want to tell a few words here because it’s worth it really.
You know the classical scene of the people who travel enough and often change hotel at night. We arrive tired at the reception and when we cross the threshold the roads divide themselves inexorably.
In a few hotel we spend half an hour for the check in listening to things we are not interested in (yeah, I know, sometimes I can seem a bit rough but the pre-constituted affectations don’t suit me!).
Then we go upstairs to our room and the key doesn’t open so we have to go downstairs again to fit the programming, then when finally we enter the room…doesn’t exist an additional pillion, the Wi-Fi has a bad signal, the hot water takes ten minutes to arrive, etc…
Don’t tell me it never happened to you! Of course, I know, too, that these are not the trifles defining a hotel better or worse than another one and it’s always an overall judgment, but when we find a place where all the mere trifles are absolutely perfect besides all the rest…well, the stay is at the top to me!
I find it an index of professional competence and real care towards the customer.
Tips to sleep in Berlin
So here I am to tell you about the Hotel Flottwell Berlin. A comfortable, convenient and simply perfect accommodation.
Just starting from the little things: very comfortable beds; perfect temperature in the room (adjustable); the shower, besides to be design, is big with the roaring water; a large plane where putting things in the bathroom; very quick Wi-Fi; a kettle with infusions and sugar in the bedroom (How many places lack of them?); TV which can be watched from all the beds (even if we didn’t have even switched on it)…
Our room had even the perfect cooking area for people travelling maybe with little children or wanting cook something in the room and save.
The underground is really close and links two stops in Berlin town centre.
Outside there’s a urban park.
One of the things that here in Italy we can only dream: hectares and hectares of green lived by people at any time day and night.
Children areas where playing and getting dirty with sand, areas for the bigger ones where jumping, playgrounds, basketball and volleyball courts where the young people meet, skateboard tracks divided according to the age where doing evolutions. Obviously, cycle tracks and the thing that struck me most: kilometres and kilometres of soft track to go jogging.
It’s a sight to use, even if I’m not a sport lover but walking there is wonderful. In that park it was really endless.
Impossible to carry away Valeria from here!
The breakfast has everything. It is served every morning and it’s included. You can order the eggs in any way and at the desk you find these very nice jars full of particular delicacies.
Every evening the stop at the park it was de rigueur to us: here Valeria watched thrilled all what it was available and every evening she discovered a new piece of it.
It doesn’t matter that it was for little children or bigger ones. She has to experience everything, as always she does!
All that usually we call for a hotel for a short stay or a longer one, this hotel is the perfect choice to visit Berlin.
