Visit Dallas, Texas, is certainly a journey I advise to plan. As you know, after have visited Florida, America bewitched Valeria and I’m afraid we’ll have to humour her for a while, and hardly we’ll move from the USA as a destination, if we want to hope she’ll come with us still sometimes during our journeys.
Dallas is a stunning, charming and bewitching city. Whether you are interested in Arts, Architecture, furniture, galleries, restaurants…or you simply want to live the city you will find the perfect mix to suit your tastes visiting Dallas.

New architectural projects that define pharaonic is an understatement (but we know, the Americans make all big!) and a huge redevelopment project give and further will give the right worth to this city. The international prizes awarded in these last few years to the several architectural works are many and the skyline during the different moment of the day is absolutely a reason to visit Dallas.
Tips: admire it from the several points advised during the different hours of the day and then in the evening, in the dark. Only by this way you will catch all its majesty.
Visit Dallas means visit one of the greatest centres of the world about business and this allows easy and quick air links on really affordable prices.
Tips: look for the fares on the American airline companies websites both for the flights to Europe and domestic flights. You’ll realize how low-cost they are.

Klide Warren Park just opened: it’s a urban green space all to experience. You’ll be impressed by how Americans can exploit the potentialities of a public park: for example, one day you’ll find Food Trucks. Coloured trucks with all sorts of food available in a fixed area and at fixed times to delight passers-by. Instead another day you’ll find Zumba: outdoor classes for whole family. As well as several public and private events, yoga classes, cultural events and showings, of course.
Tips: Almost all activities and suggestions are free, as evidence of every journey can be low-cost.
It’s useless to say in Dallas you’ll find the best Tex-Mex and barbecue cuisine. Certainly, vegetarians will be horrified but there are really many solutions for them, too. But Dallas is the reign of meat.
But visit Dallas is still other more. You really can pick and choose. You can do sport in the heart of the city: jogging around the lake, going cycling, golf (you think there are over 200 golf courses in Dallas!), playing being real cowboys…and shopping all over the year. But specially during sales period you’ll like this a lot even if you are not shopping lovers, like me!
Tips: in whole of the United States some days a year sales are really unbelievable for us which are used to the Italian prices (we found Timberland at 30$, you see what I mean). Then a few shops in these days give a further 15/20% off from 8 am, before the 10am official open time. It’s impossible to resist!
